Training

Anything you want to learn
Your SPECOPS ops one stop shop!

All SPECOPS training is designed and led by U.S. Special Forces veterans and expert indigenous guides, each of whom possess a wealth of experience in the remote survival and educational tourism industry.  Our seasoned staff use their diverse skills and experience to provide guests with the most unique and professionally organized programs available.

SPECOPS is in the business of having fun as well as education, and we take our job very seriously.  Although some of our programs can fringe on extreme, we never lose sight of our professional goals and the safety of our clients.  We apply the same stringent planning methodologies for our classes as we have done for the military during overseas operations and deployments for many years.  Each program is designed in exacting detail, accounting for all possible contingencies.

Every expedition we field is equipped with fully-stocked medical bags, navigation aids, and communications equipment suitable for use even in the most remote locations.  Before you step in country, medical evacuation and contingency plans are already in place.

Our diverse and comprehensive selection of classes include medical, survival, land navigation, fitness, safety and preparedness—just to name a few—and we will be adding more, so be sure to check back frequently for new programs, dates, and locations.

NOTE: MYKEL HAWKE IS THE PRIMARY SURVIVAL INSTRUCTOR FOR SPECOPS AND IS UNABLE TO CONDUCT PUBLIC COURSES UNTIL THE SUMMER DUE TO FILMING THE SECOND MAN, WOMAN, WILD SURVIVAL SERIES FOR THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL.

In the interim, we are happy to do one of the following:

1. Arrange a SpecOps survival course with other SpecOps cadre.
2. Refer to other instructors on Hawke's Friends of Survival page.
3. Take your info and notify you when we are preparing to launch new courses.
4. Try to arrange private courses if film schedule permits.

Thanks for your patience, understanding, and continued support!
